Community - School Programs

Jurien Bay District High School prides itself with community involvement within the school. The Jurien Bay Police Ranger Unit works closely with the Jurien Bay RSL to mark key ceremonies such as ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day with an enormous amount of community involvement. The ladies from the CWA regularly visit the classes and instruct students on a variety of craft activities. Recently our Year 5/6 class was awarded certificates and prizes from entering a CWA competition. Jurien has a high level of community involvement, from class visits to businesses, to traineeships being offered to secondary students. As a community we all participate in the education of our students as is our motto "Together in Learning".
